Cassie Nell Cooper

Mrs. Cassie Nell Cooper, 75 of Hollow Rock, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2PM on Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with Brother Bruce Crane officiating.  Burial to follow in the Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.

Mrs. Cooper was born on July 27, 1942 in Carroll County to the late John Hubert and Brooxie Higdon Brinkley.  She was a member of  Barren Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Carroll County Senior Choir, Order the Eastern Star, and a retired cafeteria manager for the Huntingdon Special School District.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: Husband, Lee Weldon Cooper; Granddaughter, Hilary Howell; Son-in-law, Jerry Howell; and a brother, Leonard Brinkley.

She is survived by: 2 Daughters, Kathy (Chris) Howell of Bruceton, TN and Karen (Dennis)Townsend of Huntingdon; 4 Grandchildren, Hayden Howell, Hailey Howell, Tori Townsend, and Brady Townsend; 2 Great-grandchildren, Preston Howell and Reed Ross.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home from 4-8PM and then on Friday, from 10AM until time of services.

Pallbearers will be: Hayden Howell, James Ross, Dennis Townsend, Chris Black, Chase Crider, Brady Townsend, Preston Howell, Michael Cooper, and Randy Cooper.
