Mrs. Dorothy Jean Higdon, 75, of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Sunday February 17, 2019 at Henry County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00PM Thursday February 21, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
Mrs. Higdon was born February 28, 1943 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Phillip Heckert and Leah Leavine Parham Heckert.
She is survived by two daughters Glenda Tinsley of Milan, Tennessee and Tammy Bowen of Columbia, Tennessee; two sons Johnny Higdon of Hollow Rock, Tennessee and Andrew (Shirley) Higdon of McKenzie, Tennessee; one brother Douglas Heckert of Flint, Michigan; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and Thursday from 10:00AM until service.
