Ezra Martin Obituary

Mr. Ezra Mason Martin, 104, of McLemoresville, Tennessee passed away Friday August 9, 2019 at NHC Healthcare.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday August 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter. Interment will follow in McLemoresville Cemetery. Brother Don Williams officiating.

Mr. Martin was born August 30, 1914 to the late Seth Thomas Martin and Millie B Hayes Martin. He was a retired School Superintendent and a member of the McLemoresville United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his first wife Jewell Newman Martin, second wife Janie Carroll; brothers Eugene Martin, Robert H Martin, Fred J Martin; sister Mammie Ruth House.

He is survived by one step-son Monte Carroll of York, Pennsylvania; two sisters Jewell Newman of Cedar Grove, Tennessee and Ruby Nell Alexander of Milan, Tennessee; brother Calvin Thomas Martin of Cedar Grove, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM and on Tuesday from 9:00AM until time of services.
