Faye Autry Ellis

Faye Autry Ellis, age 85, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Huntingdon Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Friday July 5, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Davis Chapel Cemetery in Huntingdon, Tennessee.  Judge John Everett Williams will officiate.

Faye was born December 29, 1933 in Shiloh, Tennessee to the late Clyde & Hazel Autry.  She was a member of the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Tyler Ellis; daughter, Linda Faye Ellis; grandson, Jeremy Ellis; six brothers, Arvil Autry, Bernice Autry, Ray Autry, James Autry, Billy Autry, & Bob Autry; and sister, Mirzine Autry.

She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy  Ellis of Huntingdon, Tennessee & Jerry (Sherry) Ellis of Bruceton, Tennessee; three sisters, Pat Taylor of Camden, Tennessee, Sue Frazee of Camden, Tennessee, & Shirley Altom of Lexington, Tennessee; grandchildren, Misty White, Shannon Ellis, & Bethany Parker; great-grandchildren, Alli Nicole Ellis, Peyton Ellis, Paige Coleman, Paris Coleman, David Parker, & Robert Parker; and two great-great-granddaughters, Clara Damesworth & Lana Moore.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00AM until time of service at 2:00PM.
