Jerry David Bailey

Jerry David Bailey, 58 of Madison, AL passed away on April 21, 2019.

 Jerry was born in Huntingdon, TN on October 15, 1960.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Susan; sons, Evan and Alex; parents, Sam and Sue Bailey; sister, Melissa Swinea; brother-in-law, Matt Swinea; niece, Ashlyn Swinea.

Jerry graduated from David Lipscomb University with a BA Degree in Math and Physics, then went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Math from UAH.  He was a college professor in math/physics.  He enjoyed letterboxing, was a roller coaster enthusiast, a game and puzzle fanatic, a prolific reader.  He loved trivia games, actually auditioning for Jeopardy several times.  Jerry was a lover of music, and a Tennessee VOLS fan for life!

You may visit with the family on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Madison Church of Christ.  Funeral Services, officiated by Minister Mike Winkler will begin at 6:00pm.

 Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00pm at Carroll Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.
