John Richard Goode, Sr

Mr. John Richard Goode, Sr., 70 of Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home.

The family has chosen cremation services.

Mr. Goode was born on August 11, 1947 in Covington, Tennessee to the late Wilbert and Gloria Adams Goode. He was retired from sales in plumbing supply and served in the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: a brother, Ernest Goode; and a sister, Lorraine Wilkins.

He is survived by: his loving wife of 50 years, Theresa Mazza Goode of Buena Vista, TN; Daughter, Belinda (William) Tucker of Buena Vista, TN; Sons, John Richard (Lisa) Goode, Jr. of McKenzie, TN and Michael Scott (Judy) Mazza of Beech Bluff, TN; Brothers, Roy Goode and James Goode both of New Jersey; 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
