Lonnie Fred Kirby

Mr. Lonnie Fred Kirby, age 91, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Southgate Nursing Home in Metropolis, Illinois. 

 Graveside memorial service will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday June 22,2019 at New Liberty Cemetery.

Lonnie was born December 21, 1927 in Madison County, Tennessee to the late Harlis & Hettie Kirby.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruby Kirby; infant daughter, Fredia Diane Kirby; son, Larry Michael Kirby; and four sisters, Mary Lavelle Kirby-Chandler, Inez Kirby Wilks, Sue Kirby Claybrook, & Peggy Kirby McMackin.

Mr. Kirby was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard.  He retired from TVA in 1983 as an electrician. 

He is survived by his son, Don (Debbie) Kirby of Paducah, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Adam Kirby of Louisville, Kentucky, Brent Kirby of Paducah, Kentucky, & Leigh Anne (Clint) Roberts of New Market, Virginia.
