Lucille Peterson

Mrs. Lucille Peterson, 98, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Saturday December 22, 2018 at Life Care Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Monday December 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery. Brother Chase Sanders officiating.

Mrs. Peterson was born May 26, 1920 to the late Robert Scott and Flocy Dill Scott. She was a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ and preceded in death by her husband Odell Peterson; one son and daughter-in-law Buddy (Jane) Peterson; grandson Keith Peterson.

She is survived by two daughters Sue Gurley of Clarksburg, Tennessee and Pat Renfroe of Clarksburg, Tennessee; one son Kenny (Melissa) Peterson of Clarksburg, Tennessee; one brother Priestly Scott of Puryear, Tennessee; nine grandchildren Myron Gurley, Lana Foster, Randall Renfroe, Donald Renfroe, Ronald Peterson, Sheila Perry, Michelle Shappley, Jamie Peterson and Elizabeth Bullington; nineteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday December 23, 2018 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and on Monday from 9:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clarksburg Church of Christ.
