Pete Springer

Mr. Pete Springer, 93, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday January 9, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2PM Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.  Burial to follow in the Sellers Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Springer was born in Clarksburg, Tennessee on January 21, 1924 to the late Clarence and Lillian Simpson Springer.  He was retired from Publix Shirt Company and a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: Sisters, Hester Scott, Lola Rosser, Vera Collins, Mildred Bridges, Polly Simpson, and Lorene Springer; and Brothers, Wayne and Henry Springer. 

He is survived by: Sister, Alva Jean Boyd of Clarksburg, TN; Sister-in-law, Ruth Springer of Huntingdon, TN; Close Friend, Hilde Gregory of Clarksburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home from 4-8PM and then on Thursday, from 11AM until time of services.
