Alba Faye (Simmons) Lomax

Mrs. Alba Faye Lomax, 91, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Oak Haven Assisted Living.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, June 7, 2025 at McAuley Cemetery in Buena Vista, Tennessee. Brother Joey Simmons officiating.

There will be no public visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Mrs. Alba was born December 26, 1933 in Westport, Tennessee to the late Albert Simmons and Naioma Bailey Simmons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Lomax.

She is survived by one brother,  Bailey Simmons of Hollow Rock, Tennessee along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
