Anita Allen Ingram,94, of Memphis TN passed away on Tuesday April 21,2020.
Graveside service will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday April 26, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00PM until 1:45PM.
Anita was born June 28,1925 in Huntingdon TN, the daughter of Myers and Mary Allen. She graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1943. Anita received a nursing degree from the University of Tennessee in 1946.
Mrs. Ingram worked as a nurse at the health department, local school, and Veterans Hospital. She also worked as a nurse for the TVA for many years until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, playing in her local bridge club, and was an avid UT Vols sports fan.
Anita is survived by her son Dr. Tim Pace (Barbara) of Burns,TN. Her grandchild Carter Pace of Linden,TN and Mary Rachel Cayson Of Atoka,TN. Brothers Phillip (Joyce) Allen of Mempis,TN and Eric Allen of Dothan,AL. Sister Marsha Callicutt of Olive Branch,MS. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by father Myers Allen. Step father C. H Pudor and mother Mary (Allen) Pudor. Husband William “Clint” Ingram. Brother Myers Allen Jr. and Danny Allen and great grandson Everett Carter Cayson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Dickson, TN where Mrs. Ingram was a member. 212 North Main Street Dickson,TN 37055.
