Audie Simpson

Mr. Audie Priestly Simpson, 85, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday September 24, 2023 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother James Keen officiating.

The family will receive friends at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday from 11:00AM until time of service at 1:00PM.

Mr. Simpson was born February 8, 1938 to the late Onnie Simpson and Olivia Simpson. Preceded in death by a brother Claude Simpson. He was a Plant Supervisor and Upholstery Designer at Gaines Manufacturing and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Simpson; one daughter Greta (Darrell) Hensley of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; two sons Allen Simpson and Todd (Michelle) Simpson both of Huntingdon, Tennessee; six grandchildren Morgan (Shaun) Williams, Tyler Simpson, Kaitlin (Logan) Schofield, Austin Sampson, Samuel Hensley and Katie Simpson and four great-grandchildren.
