Mrs. Barbara Jean Fann, 83 of McKenzie, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 12PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with Brother Lynn Stapleton officiating. Burial to follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Fann was born on October 26, 1934 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Edwin and Bessie Duda Smitherman. She was retired from E.W. James & Sons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her husband, William E. Fann; and grandson, Nicholas Fann; son-in-law, John Chudy; brother, James Smitherman; sister, Helen Stewart; and her dog, Precious.
She was a loving mother to: a Daughter, Linda Fann of Flint, MI; 3 Sons, Michael Fann of Pontiac, MI, Billie Ray (Donna) Fann of Milford, MI, and Timothy (Bobbie) Fann of McKenzie, TN; and loving Grandmother to: Brennon Fann, Ray Alexander Fann, Molly Maize Fann, Parker Fann, and Tyler Fann; special friends, Helen McClain, Jacob McClain, and Jackie McClain; a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; She loved her family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17th from 10AM until time of services.
Pallbearers to serve are: Brennon Fann, Ray Alexander Fann, Parker Fann, Molly Maize Fann, Tyler Fann, Jacob McClain, and Jackie McClain.
