Obituary
Mrs. Barbara June Brown, 81, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday March 8, 2023 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Saturday March 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in McAuley Cemetery. Brother Jim Holt officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Saturday from 8:00AM until time of services at 10:00AM.
Mrs. Brown was born June 3, 1941 to the late William Aaron Hilliard and Ellie Lucille Holladay Hilliard. She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bud” Brown who passed away November 27, 2012; four brothers Joe Hilliard, Earl Hilliard, RC Hilliard and Dillard Hilliard and two sisters Patsy Gourley and Kate Jerden.
She is survived by one son William Jeffrey (Susan) Brown of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; grandchildren Barbara Sue (Justin) Turner of Jackson, Tennessee, William Keith Brown of Dukedom, Tennessee, Chloe Grace Mitchell of Huntingdon, Tennessee; great-grandchildren Declan Turner, Colt Brown and Callie Brown.
Honoring her as Active Pallbearers will be Dr. Justin Turner MD, Justin Goodrum, Wilburn Maness, Keith Brown, Chris Carter and Shannon Vaughn.
Honoring her as Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Gourley, Tyler Smith and Donald Russell.
