Billy Blaine Murphy

Mr. Billy Murphy, 86, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Thursday January 28, 2021 at his home.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM Sunday April 11, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery. Brother George Avery officiating.

The family has requested that those in attendance for the graveside service please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Mr. Murphy was born October 6, 1934 to the late Leon Murphy and Madelyn Massey Nesbitt. Preceded in death by his step-father Morgan Nesbitt. He was retired car salesman; avid St Louis Cardinals baseball fan and avid Clarksburg Basketball fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years June Murphy of Clarksburg, Tennessee; one daughter Toni Murphy of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one sister Mignon Edwards of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one brother Barry Mac Murphy of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one grand-dog Mia; several very special nieces and nephews.
