Carol McCormick

Mrs. Carol McCormick, 88, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday September 3, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Friday September 6, 2024 at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Dr. Tim Atkins and Brother Mark Carrigan officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Friday from 10:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McCormick was born April 2, 1936 to the late Bruce Milam and Sadie Blow Milam. She was a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church and preceded in death by one sister Agnes Bush and one grandson Will Fisher.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years Ray McCormick of Huntingdon, Tennessee; four daughters Vicki (Gary) Cannizzo of Nashville, Tennessee, Susan Fisher of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Jan (Gerald) Scarbrough of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Shelley Gurley of Huntingdon, Tennessee; ten grandchildren Erich Moody, Matt (Kelly) Moody, Megan Moody, Lindsey (Justin) Johnson, Courtney (Matt) Cole, Loren (Dusty) Hatfield, Brinn (Austin) Avery, Heather (Kevin Wilkes) Gurley, Brandon (Jessica) McCormick and Dylan Gurley; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; her beloved dog Beau.
