Carol Pinson

Mrs. Carol Pinson, 79, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday June 20, 2026 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday June 22, 2026 at Huntingdon Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens in McKenzie, Tennessee.  Dr. Walter Butler officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday June 21, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again at Huntingdon Church of Christ on Monday June 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.

Carol was born June 16,  1947 and preceded in death by her parents, Houston Newsome and Nell Newsome.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Pinson of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two daughters, Cindy (Stacey) Cole of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Pam (Mike) Pursley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one son, Chad (Edyee) Pinson of Huntingdon, Tennessee; three brothers, David (Cindy) Fuller of Maryville, Tennessee, Dale Newsome of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Larry (Diane) Newsome of Huntingdon, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Nick (Jamie) Coomer, Erika (David) Travis, Conner (Mimi) Pinson, Zach (Micayla) Stephens, Morgan (Thomas) Rovery, Clay (Leigh) Pinson, Dalton Pursley, Jordan (Collin) Strickland and Carly (Jackson) Green; five great-grandchildren, Hallie Belle Coomer, Darcy Carol Pinson, Cohen Green, Callahan Stephens and Annie Mae Travis.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Nick Coomer, David Travis, Thomas Rovery, Collin Strickland, Zach Stephens, Jackson Green, Conner Pinson and Clay Pinson.
