Carolyn Newman

Mrs. Carolyn Faye Pearson Newman, 80, of Milan, Tennessee passed away Tuesday August 29, 2023 at Jackson Madison General Hospital.

Mrs. Newman was born to the late Mitchell Pearson and Lola Batton Mitchell. Preceded in death by one sister Martha Hubseth; two brothers Billy Harold Pearson and Danny Pearson.

She is survived by daughters Jodie Waldrup of Paris, Tennessee, and Rusty Richards of Franklin, Tennessee; sons James (Alacia) Mitchell of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Dennis (Tami) Mitchell of Huntingdon, Tennessee, and Christopher Mitchell of Eureka, California; sisters Betty Nell Gardner of McKenzie, Tennessee, Diane Martin of McKenzie, Tennessee, Sandy Pearson of Orlando, Florida, and Kay Sasser of Gleason, Tennessee; six grandchildren Mikal Mitchell, Matt Waldrup, Nick Waldrup, Blake Mitchell, Tristen Deschapell and Allie Deschapell; ten great-grandchildren.
