Cecilia Martin

Mrs. Cecilia Martin, 92, of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Thursday September 26, 2024 at The Water’s McKenzie.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Tuesday October 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:30AM until time of services at 1:00PM.

Mrs. Martin was born April 11, 1932 to the late Cecil Chandler and Ruby Alexander Chandler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Tony Martin; three brothers Jackie Chandler, Don Chandler and Jimmy Chandler.

She is survived by four children Steve Martin of Kenner, LA, Barry (Connie) Martin of Camden, TN, Sherri (Tom) Thomson of Knoxville, TN and Kaye (Steve) Slater of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren Tony Martin, Brock Martin, Anna Kilburn, Paige Hocker, Hunter Thomson, Garrett Thomson, Joshua Slater and Chandler Malloy; nineteen great-grandchildren; three sisters Lynice Scott, Dianne Yarbrough and Suellen Milligan; one brother Buddy Chandler.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude.
