Mr. Charles Eddie Young, 65, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday February 7, 2024 at Vanderbilt Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday February 13, 2024 at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Brother Steve Osborne officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Tuesday from 11:00AM until time of departure at 1:00PM.

Mr. Young was born December 2, 1958 in Lexington, Tennessee. Preceded in death by his father Charles Luther Young.

He is survived by his mother Corene Gateley Young; children Eva Young (Eva’s mother Tammy Taylor) of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, Beth Anne (Clay) Farrell of Trezevant, Tennessee, Dalton Young and Colton Hays of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three sisters Lisa Dial of Jackson, Tennessee, Tammy (Tony) Melton of Cedar Grove, Tennessee and Sherry Argo of Humboldt, Tennessee; one brother Rodney (Renee) Pendergrass of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; five grandchildren.
