Chester Hampton

Mr. Chester Hampton, 62,  of McKenzie, TN passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Humbles Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 11:00AM until the start of services at 1:00PM.

Mr. Hampton was born on February 8, 1959 in Huntingdon, TN to the late Edward and Bertha Hampton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Hampton, his sister, Evon Hampton, his brother, Darnell Jamison, a step-son, Shannon Milton, and nephew, Stanley Jamison.

He is survived by one son, Carlos Milton of McKenzie, TN; three daughters: Ladevia Hartsfield of Nashville, TN, Felisha Williams of Lexington, TN, and Melisa Hardimon of Humboldt, TN; six sisters: Josephine Melton, Virginia Taylor, Barbara (Anthony) Owens, Kim Hampton of Huntingdon, TN, Gearlean Buckley of Nashville, TN, and Cynthia Pittman of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Richard (Gwen) Hampton, and Rodney (Angie) Hampton of Huntingdon, TN; three aunts and one uncle; three grandsons and seven granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
