Clifton Cruse

Mr. Clifton Cruse, 87, of Mixie, Tennessee passed away Friday October 24, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Monday October 27, 2025 at Henry Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie. Brother John Sutton officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Monday from 11:00AM until 1:15PM.

Mr. Cruse was born November 10, 1937 to the late Alvernie “Bob” Cruse and Ruby Vancleave Cruse. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Cruse; brother Kenneth Cruse; sister Wilma Jane Gammill . He was retired from Carroll County School Systems as the Transportation Supervisor and a member of Henry Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters Wendy (Shea) Bromley of Lexington, Tennessee and Marcia (Mike) Miller of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister Donna (Dave) Dyer of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee; one brother Greg (Joy) Cruse of Mixie, Tennessee; five grandchildren Morgan Bromley, Candace Bromley, Bethany (Koby Wortham) Miller, Ashlyn Miller and Carly Miller.
