Dale Reeder

Ms. Dale Reeder, 69, of McKenzie passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Brother Larry DePriest will officiate.

Ms. Reeder was born on March 15, 1952 in Carroll County to the late Aaron Reeder and Ruth Nell Haywood Reeder. She started in nursing at Wilson’s Clinic working with Dr. Jerry Atkins. She then went to Baptist Memorial Hospital and worked with Dr. Scott Portis. She retired nursing at Evans Clinic working with Dr. Paul Evans. She was a member of Tate’s Pentecostal Church. She loved spending time with family, reading and going to yard sales and flea markets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Pearl Reeder, and other half-brothers and half-sisters.

She is survived by her special companion, JL Reynolds; one sister, Florence Nell Reeder Noles; 2 brothers, Travis Reeder and Billy Hall; 2 nephews, Jimmy and Charles Moore; her niece, Kathy Bullard; her two best friends, Mary Kay and Sharon Anderson; her nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5:30PM until 8:30PM and on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10:30AM until services start at 12:00 Noon.
