Danny "Babe" Gooch

Mr. Danny “Babe” Gooch, 76, of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Tuesday August 20, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00PM Friday August 23, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Brother Brian Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Friday from 9:00AM until 3:00PM.

Mr. Gooch was born January 9, 1948 to the late Willie Ben Gooch and Sarah Frances Miller Gooch. He was a member of Fairview Church of Christ and preceded in death by one brother Bennie Gooch.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Gooch of Yuma, Tennessee; two sons Billy Gooch of St. Joseph, Tennessee and Steven Gooch of Huntingdon, Tennessee; four daughters Debbie Mullens of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Tabitha Reynolds of Paris, Tennessee, Mary Willis of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Sandy Pierce of Hollow Rock, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
