Doris Turnham Obituary

Mrs. Doris LaVergne Evans Turnham,90, passed away Thursday December 17, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday December 19, 2020 at Brush Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Barren Springs Cemetery in Huntingdon.

Doris left her hometown in West Tennessee to work as a typist for the FBI before meeting her husband, John. Her life was devoted to her family and church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John Turnham, brother Morris Evans, and parents Joseph and Thelma Evans.

She is survived by her children Pamela Todd (Lanny), Timothy Turnham (Phyllis), and Gregory Turnham (Feye), six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
