E. P. Travelstead

Mr. E. P. Travelstead, 79, of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Tuesday November 12, 2019 at his home.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00PM Saturday November 16, 2019 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Brother Jimmy Fowler officiating.

Mr. Travelstead was born August 3, 1940 to the late Fred R. Travelstead and Rosy Pyles Travelstead. He was a retired contractor for TVA; preceded in death by his siblings Hershel Travelstead, Marie Thompson, Charles Travelstead, Leonard Travelstead and Christine Brown.

He is survived by four daughters Cynthia (Jackie) Pledge of Newbern, Tennessee, Paula Travelstead of Union City, Tennessee, Amanda (Timothy) Fuller of Trenton, Tennessee and Jennifer (JohnNathan) Marino of Irmo, South Carolina; four sons Ron Stewart of Portage, Missouri, E. P. (Rachel) Travelstead Jr., Bud (Courtney) Travelstead McKenzie, Tennessee and Alex Travelstead; five sisters Geraldine Smith of Dickinson, Texas, Peggy Wilbanks of Crockett Mills, Tennessee, Mary Louise Johnson of St. Joe, Michigan, Linda Pugh of League City, Texas and Belva Sue King of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three brothers Michael (Alice) Travelstead of Trezevant, Tennessee, Maynard (Sandra) Travelstead Georgia and Alfred Travelstead of Jackson, Tennessee; twenty-six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Liberty Hill Baptist Church from 11:00AM until time of services at 1:00PM
