Ellen Wooley

Mrs. Ellen Wooley, 78, of Puryear, Tennessee, formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday December 9, 2023 at her home.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday December 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00AM until 2:00PM.

She was born August 4, 1945 to the late Harbart Smith and Pauline Tucker Smith. Attended Clarksburg Church of Christ and Springville Church of Christ. Preceded in death by two brothers Phillip Smith and Merle Smith.

She is survived by her husband Randall Wooley of Puryear, Tennessee; one daughter Amy Kail-Douglas (Jeremy) of Puryear, Tennessee; one son Jason Wooley (Shelby) of Milan, Tennessee; grandsons Jordan Wooley (Hailey), Tucker Kail (Nisha) and Layne Wooley; great-grandsons Kash Kail, Kane Wooley and Colter Wooley; five sisters Madlyn Bolen of Wildersville, Tennessee, Ella Raye Coleman of McKenzie, Tennessee, Gale Akins of McKenzie, Tennessee, Judy Parish of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Jan (Ricky) Cozart of Gleason, Tennessee.
