Faye (DePriest) Carter

Mrs. Faye Carter, 78, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Huntingdon. Brother Darrell Ridgely officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Faye was born May 6, 1947 to the late Jack DePriest and Letta DePriest. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Clayton Carter; two sisters, Frances Robinson and Ruby Allen; five brothers, Edward DePriest, Bobby DePriest, Joe Depriest, William DePriest, Howard DePriest. She retired from work as a seamstress at Publix Shirt Factory.

She is survived by one daughter, Jackie (James) Streetman; two sons, Harlan (Gloria) Williams and William Williams(Barbara); eight grandchildren, Josh S., Dakota, Josh B., Jessica, Megan, Zachary, Hunter, Robert; eight great-grandchildren, Jeslyn, Jayce, Macie, Emma Joe, Theo, Charlotte, Karaline, Lillie Marie; two great-grandchildren that are on the way and her special friend and caregiver, Jaleesa Melton.
