Helen Laman

Mrs. Helen Laman, 92, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday December 30, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Tuesday January 2, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cypress United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bells, Tennessee. Brother Dennis Abernathy officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Tuesday from 9:00AM until time of service at 10:00AM.

Mrs. Laman was born November 27, 1931 to the late Lee Thompson Arnold and Florence Nichols Arnold. Preceded in death by her husband Eldon Laman; son Van Laman; two grandsons Kris Laman and Jonathan Laman; two brothers Wayne Arnold and Melvyn Arnold.  

She is survived by two daughters Linda Ivey of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Barbara Newsome of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sons Lynn (Danita) Laman of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Cary (Angel) Laman of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister Sara Margaret Spitzer of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one brother Barry (Donia) Arnold of Seymour, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Brian Newsome, Jason Newsome, Colin Laman, Nick Laman and Kyle Brown.
