James Norman Miller

Mr. James Norman Miller, 79, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00PM on Sunday December 3, 2023 in the chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Roan’s Creek Cemetery. Brother Mark Simons officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday from 9:30AM until time of services at 2:00PM.

Mr. Miller was born January 22, 1944 to the late J.C. Miller and Gracie Miller. He was a long distance truck driver for eighteen years, a supporter of Northwest Tennessee Eagle Riders to help veterans, and a fork lift driver for MIG LLC. He is preceded in death by one brother Richard Miller and one sister Carolyn Miller.

He is survived by his wife Betty Miller; two daughters Selina Edwards of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Genevive (Scott) Brown of Waterford, Maine; two sons Billy (Di) Altom of Clarksburg, Tennessee and Casey (Richelle) Newsted of Kansas City, Kansas; four sisters Deldores (Amos) Williams of Ohio, Janice (Hal) Boyd of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Tammie (Mark) Geary of Yuma, Tennessee, and Jamie (Bill) Sanders of Clarksburg, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Honoring Mr. Miller as pallbearers will be Jackie Laird, Chris Luckey, Terry Dunn, Tom Kaleberer, Russell Rainwater, and Nelson Davis.
