James Robert Todd

Mr. James Robert Todd, age 93, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Christian Care of McKenzie in McKenzie, Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at New Crossroads Church Cemetery in Huntingdon, Tennessee.  Brother Dennis Coleman and Brother Garrett Todd will officiate.

Robert was born on September 11, 1925 in Yuma, Tennessee to Turner Hobson & Mary Elizabeth Todd.   He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed Todd, Hulon Todd, Jimmy Todd, Bug Todd, & Lois Todd;  and sisters, Jean Walker, Merline Tubbs, & Ava Smothers.

Mr. Todd was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be missed by all of his family and friends.  He was a dedicated farmer for many years.  He was retired from the Milan Army Ammunition Plant where he worked for thirty-five years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Robbie Harrison Todd of Huntingdon, Tennessee;  daughter, Trebor (Dr. William) Cuthbertson of Brentwood, Tennessee;  sons, Kenneth (Sheryl) Todd of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Steve (Andra) Todd of Huntingdon, Tennessee, & Gary (Vickie) Todd of Wildersville, Tennessee; sister, Linda (Jim) Burchum of Bruceton, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 5PM to 8PM at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home and also 12:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service on Sunday.

Pallbearers include grandsons, Clint Todd, Chris Todd, Garrett Todd, Hunter Todd, Dillon Todd, Robert Cuthbertson, David Cuthbertson, & Will Cuthbertson.  Honorary Pallbearers include Paul Hugueley, Owenn Hugueley, & Dalton Sellers.
