Janice Dodd

Mrs. Janice Dodd, 74, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday May 25, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday May28, 2022 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Brother Rick Crossno officiating.

Mrs. Dodd was born March 18, 1948 to the late Isom Milton Box and Glee Ophenie Inman Box. She was preceded in death by one brother Kenneth Ray Box; four sisters Jean Stewart, Dorothy Cook, Donna Barnes and Sherry Burns.

She is survived by her husband Joe Dodd of Lexington, Tennessee; one daughter Rhonda (Michael) Verner of Huntingdon, Tennessee; four sons Jerry W (Christina) Decanter of Ripley, Mississippi, Tommy (Melissa) Decanter of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Nickey Joe (Leslie) Dodd of Lexington, Tennessee and Derrick (Sabrina) McCaslin of McKenzie, Tennessee; one sister Kay Hill of New Albany, Mississippi; three brothers David Box of Olive Branch, Mississippi, James Box and Joe Box; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday From 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Saturday from 9:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM.
