Jenny Louise (Prater) Horn

Mrs. Jenny Louise Horn, 81, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at Maplewood Healthcare Center in Jackson, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted  1:00 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.

Jenny was born October 3, 1944, in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late Howell Leon Prater and Georgia Rettielou Prater. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Vincent Allen Hengstberger; one grandson, Alex Burns; one brother, Danny Prater; and one sister, Peggy Walters.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Horn; four siblings, Bud (Fern, deceased) Prater; Delores (Mack, deceased)Chavez; Don (Roseanne)Prater; Dana (Tina)Prater; one son, Mike (Kirsten) Hengstberger; and four grandchildren: Leslie Hengstberger, Heather Hengstberger, Dusti Hengstberger, and Jayson Hengstberger; along with 12 great-grandchildren.
