Mr. Jerry Donald Smith, Sr., 88, of Waxahachie, TX passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at McLemoresville Cemetery. Brother Phil Williams will officiate the service.

Mr. Smith was born on October 9, 1932 in Carroll County, TN to the late Robert Smith and Lavern Springer Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Smith and Bobby Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Smith of Waxahachie, TX; a son, Jerry Donald (Becky) Smith, Jr. of Waxahachie, TX; one daughter Donna (Robert) Poston, Texas; three grandchildren: Kaytlin Bechtol, Mary Hunt, and Taylor Poston; and three great-grandchildren: Connor Hunt, Kennedy Bechtol, and Quentin Hunt.
