Jo Anne Bennett

Mrs. Jo Anne Bennett, 86, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Harmony Hill Assisted Living.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM Thursday March 6, 2025 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Brother Dennis Abernathy officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:30PM until 2:00PM.

Mrs. Bennett was born March 2, 1938 to the late Tommy Yarbrough and Irene Neely Yarbrough. She was a member of Palmer Shelter Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 72 years, Robert Bennett.

She is survived by three daughters Kathy (Roger) Hanks of Atwood, Tennessee, Jan (Alan) Kinningham of Jackson, Tennessee and Judy (Steve) Parish of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one son Robert “Bob” D. Bennett of Huntingdon, Tennessee; eight grandchildren Kisha (P.J.) Pittman, Elizabeth Abernathy, Jessica (Justin) Brazzell, Drew (Kirby) Kinningham, Bennett (Danielle) Kinningham, Adam (Hillary) Parish, Ryan Parish and Brandon (Melissa) Bennett; 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Brandon Bennett, Drew Kinningham, Adam Parish, Ryan Parish, Bennett Kinningham and Blake Riley.  

Honoring her as honorary pallbearers will be Austin Riley, Trent Riley, Christopher Abernathy.
