John W. Holt

JOHN W. HOLT, 56, was delivered into the arms of his Lord on January 31st,  2021. Oh, how the angels sang! He was born on February 14th,  1964 in Urbana,  Ill. His family then moved to Huntingdon, TN where  John grew up and graduated from Huntingdon High School.

A memorial service for John will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00AM at Palmer Shelter Church. Pastor Jim Holt will officiate the service. Following the service, there will be a dinner for the family and friends at the church to celebrate John’s life.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife,  Lisa Tatum Holt and their children and grandchildren; his sister,  Brenda Pembor,  her husband,  Jeff and their son Travis McClain; his sister,  Betsy and her children, Skyler Miller (Justin) and Adam Avenenti; and his great-great nephew,  Hayden Miller. He also leaves behind many dear friends and loving cousins,  as well as,  his fur-babies Charlie,  Lily,  TT and Lil' Bit.

He is preceded in death by his parents,  Jim and Marjorie Holt; his paternal grandparents,  Neal(Alick) and Allie(Annie) Rich Holt; his maternal grandparents,  Daisy and Cliff Bisch; his brother,  Jimmie Holt;  his niece,  Angie Davis; his step-son,  Larry Ethan Gaut; and his Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Enos Stanley.

Johns fondest memories were spent at Kentucky Lake hunting,  fishing and spending time with family and friends. John was an avid outdoorsman and was truly happiest when he was in the woods.

John loved his family and was deeply loved by all.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
