Johnnie Clifton Obituary

Mr. Johnnie Wayne Clifton, 78, of Huntingdon passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

There will be a private memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.

Mr. Clifton was born on August 31, 1942 in Carroll County to the late W.W. and Marie Clifton. He was a US Air Force Veteran, worked with his parents at the Western Auto Store, a trainman for CSX Railroad, and a member of First United Methodist Church . In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Branon.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Clifton; a daughter, Sandy (Byron) Hinchey of Huntsville, AL; a son, John (Yvette) Clifton of Cleveland, TN; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
