Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Turner Barnhart, 80, of Vale, Tennessee passed away Saturday May 6, 2023 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Wednesday May 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Brother Joel Turner officiating. Private burial at New Hope Cemetery Vale, Tennessee will take place at a later time.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM and on Wednesday from 12:00PM until time of services at 2:00PM.
Mrs. Barnhart was born July 23, 1942 to the late Freeman Turner and Alletha Turner. Also preceded in death by a brother Freelon Turner.
Joyce was creative and talented with various crafts. She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with others. She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats, but also, she put food outside each evening for raccoons and possums. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by two daughters Fonda Barnhart of Vale, Tennessee and Tabra McGill of Melbourne, Arkansas; one sister Janie Turner of Dresden, Tennessee; three grandchildren James Futrell, Molly Turner and Rhett Gamlin.
