Kay Trull

Mrs. Kay Layne Trull, 68, of Atwood, Tennessee passed away Wednesday February 19, 2025 at Jackson Madison General Hospital.

Sunrise on January 7, 1957, a vibrant and free-spirited Kay Layne Trull was born to the parents of David and Novalin Knott Johnson in Trezevant, Tennessee. She remained a lifelong resident of Atwood, Tennessee until her unexpected sunset on February 19, 2025. Kay’s adventurous, humorous, steadfast and never met a stranger energy was unbeaten and contagious.

In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her brother Charles Johnson, three sisters, Marie Strickland, Joyce Ricketts and Barbara Guy.

Her legacy will continue through her beloved three sons Dustin (Aprille) Graham, Dylan Graham and Benjamin (Jessica) Trull; five grandchildren Kat, Chloe, David, Brenna (Christopher) Sigwerth, Bailey and great-granddaughter.

The bond of family will always be Kay’s cherished legacy.

A celebration of Kay’s life will be announced later.
