Mr. Kenneth Herman Ward, 82, of Adamsville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 10:30 AM at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Parker’s Crossroads on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Mr. Kenneth was born November 4, 1942 in Waterloo, Wisconsin to the late Howard Ward and Lucille Keisow. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Ward and Charles “Chuck” Ward.
Ken was a very proud Marine and served our country for four years, from March 2, 1964 to March 1, 1968 with one year served in Vietnam from May 1965 to May 1966. He left honorably with the rank of Sergeant E-5.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Jeanette (Bruns) Ward; one son, Timothy Ward of Adamsville, Tennessee; one daughter, Tracie (Shawn) McCormick of Huntingdon, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Nicholas (Kaitlyn) Ward of Savannah, Tennessee; Frankie Ward of Huntingdon, Tennessee; Grant (Kirsten) McPeake of Huntingdon, Tennessee; Rusty Mullins of McKenzie, Tennessee; Jacob Ward of Martin, Tennessee; five great-grandchildren Oakley McPeake, Athena McPeake, Valerie McPeake, Kynslee Ward, and Kohen Ward; one brother, Dennis Hensler of Wisconsin; and one sister, Rhonda (Jerry) Neuberger of Waterloo, Wisconsin, all of whom loved and will miss him dearly.
