Larry Richard Baker

Mr. Larry Richard Baker, 81, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 24, 2020 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Brother John D. Small officiating.

Mr. Baker was born on February 5, 1939 in Carroll County to the late James Luther Baker and Minnie Cassinino Baker. On August 27, 1954, he was baptized by Brother B.C. Larkin at Christian Chapel Church of Christ. He was a retired US Navy Veteran and an Engineer at ITT. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Lois and Loyd Baker, and his nephew Ricky Baker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Baker of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one niece, Anita (Patrick) Smith of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two nephews: Randy (Jon) Baker of Yuma, Tennessee, and Chris Baker of Clarksburg, Tennessee.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, and on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10:00AM until the service starts at 2:00PM.

Honoring Mr. Baker as pallbearers will be Chris Baker, Randy Baker, Patrick Smith, William Umstead, Kevin Hill and Chris Hatch. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Kiphen and Carl White.
