Larry Goode

Mr. Larry Wayne Goode, 66, of Trezevant, TN passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM Friday, August 27, 2021 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Union Academy Cemetery. Brother Jason Jackson is officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 11:00AM until start of services at 2:00PM.

Mr. Goode was born on November 18, 1954 in Tipton County, TN to the late Ludeward Lee Goode, Sr. and Lillie Webb Goode Shahan. He was a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Randy Lee Goode.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Goode of Trezevant, TN; daughter, Monica (T.J.) Brooks of Trezevant, TN; 4 grandchildren: Denver Brooks, Caitlyn Brooks, Anna Brooks, and Ethan Brooks; 2 sisters, Teresa Greene and Ellen Simmerman; 2 brothers, Ludeward Lee Goode, Jr. and Johnny Lee Goode; and many nieces and nephews.
