Mr. Lynn Dale Smothers, 70 of Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 3PM on Sunday February 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Smothers was born on April 12, 1947 in Hollow Rock to the late Dilver and Frances Newbill Smothers. He was a carpenter and served in the National Guard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: wife, Ann Pace Smothers; daughter, Laura Smothers; grandson, Ted; brother, Steve Smothers.
He is survived by: Companion, Melissa Sullivan of Huntingdon,TN; 3 Sisters, Hope (Dale) Vinson of McLemoresville, Kathy (George) Norman of Huntingdon, and Kay (Ronnie) Story of McKenzie; 1 Brother, Dan (Diane) Smothers of Huntingdon; 1 Aunt, Daisy (Jessie) Short of Parsons; and 2 Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11th from 11AM until time of services.
