Mary Jo Holmes

Mrs. Mary Jo Holmes, 89, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday May 5, 2024 at Huntingdon Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Thursday May 9, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Brother James Myers officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:30AM until 1:00PM.

Mrs. Holmes was born August 10, 1934 to the late Wylie Payton Adams and Floy Alene Gowan Adams. Preceded in death by son-in-law Randy Myers; brother Wylie Dean Adams; member of Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church; 27 years at Bemis Cotton Mill and life long camper.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years James Elma Holmes of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two daughters Vicki Myers of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Phyllis (Bob) Todd of Jackson, Tennessee; three grandchildren James (Michelle) Myers, Emily Myers and Eric (Brooke) Todd; great-grandchildren Noah Myers, Cole Myers, Shea Myers and Natalie Todd.
