On Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:55p.m., the death Angel came and claimed the life of Sister Mary Louise Willis Blankenship.

There will be a private family funeral service.

Mary Louise was born to the late Prentice and Hallie Jamison on November 27, 1935.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Homer Willis and J.D. Blankenship. Several siblings, her brothers: Raymell Jamison, George L. Jamison, Raymond Jamison, Carvene Jamison, Prentice Jamison, Jr., Elvis Jamison. Her sisters: Evelyn Jamison, Dorothy Willis, Mary Jean Craig, Melvie Sue Pearson and Margrett Ann Melton. Three children that preceded her in death were Della Jean Smith, Lorrie Nell Willis and Arthur Joe Willis. Three Grandchildren also who preceded her in death were Detris Willis, Joey Willis and Derrick Willis.

Louise professed Christ at an early age and was added to Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church most of her life. She later was added to Deliverance Ministry Full Gospel Fellowship Church whereas; she was an active member until death. She sung in the Choir, was President of the Mother Board and Kitchen Committee. She served in whatever capacity was needed.

Louise married Homer Willis and had twelve children. After his death, she later married J.D. Blankenship. She worked at Henry I Seigel and Agriculture. “She was a giving Mother to all who knew her.”

She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Dwayne Jamison and one Sister Vella Mae Owen both of Huntingdon, Tennessee. Her Children: Homer Lee (Wilma) Willis, Bruceton, Tennessee, Willie Lee Willis, Huntingdon, Tennessee, Doris Inise (Stephen) Chappel, Cedar Grove, Tennessee, Ella Dean (William Jr.) Milam, Henry, Tennessee, Ernest L. Willis, Huntingdon, Tennessee, Pastor James A. (Michell) Willis, Huntingdon, Tennessee, Gerald Roman J. (Michell) Willis, Illinois, Kalton (Angela) Willis, Lexington, Tennessee, Phillip Willis, Huntingdon, Tennessee, Derrick Posey, Wildersville, Tennessee and Georgia Mae Willis, Clarksville, Tennessee. Four Special Children: Monica DeSha Willis, Paris, Tennessee, Almonzo Donte Willis, Wildersville, Tennessee, Leshawnda Inez Willis, Huntingdon, Tennessee, Kaelin Willis, Huntingdon, Tennessee and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Louise had three special Cousins: Willie Sue Gordon, Cora Ann Webb and Linda Sue King who she cherished as friends.

She was grateful to her children and grandson Patrick Willis who supported her while she was living.
