Melissa Kaye Ellis

Mrs. Melissa Kaye Ellis, 70, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday December 28, 2025 at Life Care Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Friday January 2, 2026 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Brother Joel Goodrum officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00PM until 2:00PM.

Mrs. Ellis was born April 13, 1955 to the late J. L. Taylor and Sadie Mae Goodrum Taylor. Preceded in  death by her husband Mike Ellis and a sister Carole Bauman.

She is survived by two daughters Stephanie (Renee) McMackin of Buena Vista, Tennessee and Brandi Ellis of McKenzie, Tennessee; two sons Kevin (Bobbie Jo) McMackin of Mixie, Tennessee and Michael McMackin of Montana; one sister Jan Hollowell of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one brother Jimmy Dale Taylor of Huntingdon, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
