Ms. Meredith Jeanette Erlandson, 46, of Humboldt, Tennessee passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Jackson Madison General Hospital.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2026 at Huntingdon First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday, February 5, 2026 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Huntingdon First Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.
Meredith was born on December 25, 1979, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Ruth Daniel. In addition to her mom, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jeanette Hilliard and grandfather, Addison “Ad” Hilliard. She built her life around her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and made it her mission that everyone she encountered could see His light through her words, actions, and compassion.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Union University and continued her education by receiving a Master’s Degree from Southwest Theological Seminary. Meredith was known for her strong faith, caring heart, and dedication to serving others.
She will be remembered for her encouragement, kindness, and unwavering commitment to sharing hope and love with those around her.
Meredith is survived by one brother, Ryan Erlandson; one sister, Emily Myers; her significant other, Martin Smith; the Tucker Family, Tim, Diane, Will, Matt and Jack; three nieces, Abby, Bella and June; one nephew, Jed; along with cousins, and an abundance of and friends that were also family to her.
