Michael Thomas

Mr. Michael Raymond Thomas, 70 of Clarksburg, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1PM on Wednesday, July 18th in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with Brother Tim Parish officiating.  Burial to follow in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born on November 3, 1947 in Carroll County to the late Raymond and Ernestine Brewer Thomas.  He was: a member of the Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon and Elder; a charter member of the Carroll County Rescue Squad; and worked as a technician for Proctor & Gamble.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Vaughn.

He is survived by: Loving wife of 50 years, Sandra Kee Thomas of Clarksburg, TN; 1Son, David (Amanda) Thomas of Bruceton, TN;2 Daughters, Teresa (Bob) Mayo of Huntingdon, TN, and Lisa (Kendall) Hayes of Huntingdon, TN; 9 Grandchildren, Brandon Baker, Austin Baker, Ashley Baker, Sara Beth Hayes, Kelsey Hayes, Seth Thomas, Sadie Jo Thomas, Brandon Mayo, and Evan Mayo. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5-9PM and then on Wednesday from 9AM until time of services.

Pallbearers to serve will be: Brandon Baker, Austin Baker, Jorge Perez, Tyler Perritt, Gary Vaughn, and Nathan O’Bryant. Honorary pallbearers, Seth Thomas and Raymond Vaughn.
