Paul Thomas

Mr. Paul A. Thomas, 81, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Saturday February 10, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Friday February 16, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Obion Chapel Cemetery. Brother John Singleton officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Friday from 9:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM.

Mr. Thomas was born July 13, 1942 to the late Homer Thomas and Ellen Johnson Thomas. He was retired from Milan Arsenal, served 4 years in the Army, member of the NRA and the Republican Party. Preceded in death by his wife Lyndell Thomas; son Michael “Bubba” Thomas; brother Charles Thomas; sister Christine Davis.

He is survived by one daughter Julie (Ronnie) Keel of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; one granddaughter Kaylee Keel; one sister Shirley Merritt.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Harold Baker, Marty Barker, Matt Barker, Trevor Akin, Bart Gibson, Don Bubba Hawkins, Carnell McAlister and John Hardy.

Honoring him as honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Meals, Billy Jack Kelly and Jim Barker.
