Philip Smith Obituary

Mr. Philip Smith, 68, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday October 5, 2020 at St. Thomas Hospital.

There will be a private Family Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday from 9:00AM until 12:00 Noon.

Mr. Smith was born September 21, 1952 to the late Harbert Smith and Pauline Tucker Smith. Carpenter by trade, a retired supervisor for A & P Construction and employee of Carroll County Highway Department.

He is survived by his wife Sherry Smith of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one daughter Shannon (Ryan) Cobb of Clarksburg, Tennessee; one son Trevor (Jennie) Smith of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one step-son Dustin (Amanda) Crocker of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; six sisters Madlyn Bolen of Wildersville, Tennessee, Ella Raye Coleman of McKenzie, Tennessee, Gale Akins of McKenzie, Tennessee, Ellen (Randall) Wooley of Clarksburg, Tennessee, Judy Parish of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Jan (Ricky) Cozart of Gleason, Tennessee; one brother Merel (Margie) Smith of Clarksburg, Tennessee; five grandchildren Bayley Cobb, Cooper Cobb, Beau Smith, Emma Smith and Caleb Crocker.
